Heat and Bullies

This breed can be VERY heat sensitive.

Have your bully checked for at least basic cardiac.  A dog with a heart condition or a breathing problem is going to be a lot more likely to have problems.

In excessively hot days, do not leave your bully outside for more than 5 minutes & always supervised.  If any signs of issues, bring your dog in.

We have bulls who are acclimated to the heat and have no heart or breathing issues, and they do fine. Our larger bulls we do not leave outside at any time without our supervision.  We have seen too many issues in the breed and far too many RIP on Facebook every summer.

Always keep lemon juice, alcohol and pedialyte on hand for emergency during hot weather.
